We are pleased to introduce our new drummer, Dexter Horton.
Dex \'s credentials are impressive, having spent fourteen years
with the Bill Lyerly Band and most recently the popular Night
Prowler. He is also a respected drum instructor. More about

Thanks to some people who gave us our first chances to All members of the band are involved in other musical WFA on TV. The band guested on Tacc9\'s Downeast Today with Clyde traveled to Ireland over the Labor Day week to play with the Malpass SOLD OUT !! Our show at the beautifully restored Paramount Theater in On Oct. 28, the band had the honor of performing for the North Carolina We had the honor of performing at Wilson, N. C.\'s Whirligig Festival on What a show with Joe Wright at the Ice House on Jan. 24. It was a stone sell out! What a great turn out for the St. Patrick\'s Day Dance at the Galaxy. They tell us WFA on YouTube! We have quite a number of live videos on YouTube now, with What a perfect day! On Apr. 3, we did a show for Bear Country radio 97.9 On June 21, the band appeared at the third annual Got to be N. C. Festival at On June 26, we were happy to get to play for a big member\/guest party at NEWLYWEDS! endeavors, which means we are only able to take
selected dates, but we do look forward to presenting
what we think is something fresh and exciting in your

Rick Vernon on April 10. Rick interviewed Carroll and Clyde about
how the band got started. We had almost the whole one hour show
and were featured on six songs. Lots of folks have told us they saw
and enjoyed our appearance on this widely seen show.<\/P>\n
Brothers at the Ulster American Music Festival. Irish audiences are very
knowledgable about traditional American country music. Clyde was honored
to be asked to be a panelist at the McCauley Lecture Series which was
conducted by renowned music critic Jack Bernhardt.<\/P>\n
Goldsboro on September 12 was completely sold out ! It was a fantastic
night of music with the theme, Best of Wayne (County). Our own Jessica
Gardner is herself a native of Wayne County. We shared the bill with the
wildly popular Malpass Brothers and thirteen year old fiddling and singing
sensation, Samantha Casey. The show was the vision of Mr. David Weil,
who has undertaken a mission to make Wayne County citizens aware of
the wealth of talent that their area fosters, and to give them a beautiful
setting in which to enjoy it.<\/P>\n
Broadcasters Association at the presigious Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill.
The event honored long time counsel and our old friend, Wade Hargrove.
They requested and we performed a program of Texas style western swing
music, which is Wade\'s favorite. We even dragged him up on the stage
to play a couple of tunes on the steel guitar. He did so quite proficiently,

November 7. This is a wonderful event with multiple bands and attractions
over a three day period. As usual Jim Earp and his crew did a bang up job
with the production. It is always a breeze when we get to work with those guys.<\/P>\n
It is said that if you\'ve seen Joe one time, don\'t think you have seen his show. He
pretty much wings it, feeding off the crowd and he was really in his comfort zone
this time. He loves the venue and the crowd loves him, so look for him to visit
regularly. NEWS FLASH: Joe will return to the Ice House on Sunday, Aug. 8 ! <\/P>\n

and 98.9 at Pecheles Ford\/Toyota in Washington. The event was an antique
car show and special guest was Cooter (Ben Jones) from the Dukes of Hazard
television show. We had our pictures took with Cooter standing beside the
General Lee. Cooter and his lovely wife were most personable. The weather
couldn\'t have been better and the crowd was very responsive. We look forward
to working with these fine people again soon<\/P>\n
the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh for two shows. We had the honor of backing
Charlie Albertson, \"The Singing Senator\", who currently has an internet hit,
\"Leave the Man Alone\", about the infamous bust of Willie Nelson\'s band in
Duplin County earlier this year.<\/P>\n
Timberlake Country Club in Clinton. We had the honor of opening for eastern
Carlina\'s premier party band, Spare Change. We went on at 7:00 P.M. and it
was plenty hot, but when the sun went down, it was nice. Great food, good crowd
to play for, thanks to all who participated.<\/P>\n
on Aug. 7 in the chapel at Mt. Olive College. The groom is in the U.S. Air force
and stationed at Seymour Johnson A.F.B. Congratulations to a beautiful couple.
What a trouper! Jessica delayed her honeymoon departure for a few hours so she
could fill in for Patty Hopkins who was supposed to fill in for her at the Ice House.
Patty\'s band booked a last minute New England tour.<\/P>\n
